I think it has been conclusively shown and if I am wrong, both I an my cardiologist and endocrinologist would like to know about it, that dietary cholesterol has very little impact on serum cholesterol. The cholesterol in your blood is made by your liver. it does not come from what you eat.

It is possible through through things like exercise and the incorporation of fiber to reduce your serum cholesterol, but eating less cholesterol will have little to no impact on serum levels.

While eating a ton of food loaded cholesterol would not be good for you for other reasons, cholesterol is necessary for good health.
