Since there is a throws representation on the board I would mention the passing of Jud Logan at age 62 a couple of days ago. In speaking with one of his former throwers today I asked if complications from leukemia were responsible for his passing. His understanding was that Coach Logan entered the hospital on Christmas Eve with labored breathing that turned out to be Covid pneumonia from which he never recovered.

From the Ashland athletics web site:
"Jud was one of the best throwers in the world. He was one of the best coaches in the world. He leaves the world as one of the best human beings to ever be on the planet. As all of us know, his words, positive vibes, memories, and smiles carry on in all of us. We are all blessed to know him and have him with us in spirit."
