37 yo 6' tall 255lb on the quest to drop 75 lb.
I have dialed my calories to 1850/ day and have kept a food journal. I blew that up last night but back on track today.

After a few weeks easing myself in with machines and generally getting familiar with the gym again, I thought I was ready to Rebuild Myself With Complexes. Last week I had to admit that I need to get on PTTP like I did years ago and build my strength back up. I did a pretty hard Complex A on Thursday with several sets and some swings before hand. I woke up Fri and my pulse was 101. I thought that was a sign of over training. Today it was 79 after drinking a large glass of black tea.
So, I've decided to take 7 days off and start PTTP with Mil. Press and Sumo DL or Trap bar. And build my workout capacity and strength up slowly.
I most likely wasn't eating enough cal to recover from the complexes but the other issue I saw was I just wasn't strong enough yet to really utilize complexes like I should. I'm going to practice them though with pvc pipe and the short 25lb bar. I just wanted to pass on my experience for the sake of discussion.

And once again if anyone knows why Coach DJ is training some with high rep rack pulls...let me know. I've heard that method for a type of greasing the groove but would like to hear more on that technique. It could really help heavy travelers with access to hotel gyms with low position pulleys.

Thanks team

These "groups" don't know how to swing. Moreover, their backs get jacked up from things like jumping out of planes and stuff...so we adapt.
