Title says it all.. I know I’m not really “doing the program”, but I’m committed to doing it to the best of my ability. I purchased a squat rack for my house just to do it! I can now only work out at home or at my work gym. The work gym has dumbells but no rack, so decided the latter was more important after reading the book.

My dumbbells are very limited, (20 lb adjustable) and I can’t spend more money.

My OAP I’ve been using a 45 lb plate for the first two workouts, as that just happens to be the right weight for me at the moment... when I need to bump the weight up, I’ll have an issue though.

Bat wings im just holding the 20s for longer.

My thoughts are more barbell overhead pressing for the OAP, or just sticking with the 45lbs and owning that weight.. Possibly finding something I can use as a handle to loop through some plates and do OAP with that? Yeah I’m reaching here....

For bat wings, maybe try using plates, or alternatively, doing a variation of them with inverted rows where I can manipulate leverage for weight.

Opinions? I want to do the program now, even if I can’t do it exactly as written. In the future, I’ll come back to it when I can do it exactly as is.

Well I lucked out.. Turns out my brother has a very nice set of iron master adjustable dumbells he’s gonna let me borrow.

Still may be an interesting thread for others in a similar predicament.

I don't know if I was doing them right when I did MMS, but the batwings sure feel like a TRX (or any strap) row, as long as you really try to pull your thumbs back into your armpits. And, a TRX row can be any intensity you want just by moving your feet a bit.

Victorian Holds are a good batwing replacement, as well.

I don't know if it's viable within the program, but someone could always do single arm presses with a barbell instead of a dumbbell.

TRX or tubing pulls instead of batwings? KB press or regular MP?

The book was pre-DJ TRX; so yes. That might be 'better."

I would hate for you to skip this, but, of all the aspects, this would be the easiest to not do.

Maybe.
