Right in the middle of completely going to the VA for all my medical. I'm priority one, so I don't have to worry about getting appointments.

VA makes me go in once a year. Also, I see my own doctor maybe once a year. I ended up having dueling blood screens.

Interesting find, cuz the VA does a B-12 screening. Their doctor missed that mine was low, but still in the range of normal. My doctor (I share the tests) picked right up on it and has me dosing 5,000 a day. I eat right, old age is probably causing this. This comes after years of weird results on other things. So, just thought you might be interested if you are old.

For training, have been throwing lots and lots, followed by lots more. I use the 35# weight for added strength. Just now, I can trying to throw both left and right handed.

I usually throw 5 standing, 5 one-turn, 5 two-turn, the another 3 sets of 5 two-turns in addition. Those last sets are hard throws for distance.

Now, I mix in standing and 1-turn with the other side. Not easy right now. I must look like all my throwers did when I first started coaching them.

Figure I was overworking one side and need to balance out. Throwing real well in competition, and want to move it up a notch.

Vitacost doesn't seem to have the 500-200 combo anymore. I now take a 1000-600 in the morning and call if good.

We are going to do the 5,000 B-12 for three months and then retest. The range was 200-900 and I was at 258. Japan knows treats under 500 as a medical condition.

You gonna be out this way this summer?

During my so-called heyday, I did weekly B-12 injections. I can't say that it actually made a difference, but it certainly seemed that I trained harder during that time frame.

VA tested and I was in the "Normal range" on D3 but on the low end of it. He gave me a once a week 50,000 unit pill for I think 8 weeks then 2000 a day after. My B12 was good but I take a sublingual daily for it. Blood work can make a difference.

B12 is added to many foods nowadays, even in milk, I take a 100mcg tab now and then, sometimes a 1000mcg.
