Today before I headed out the door to work my ass off one more time,I threw in with my protein and lactaid a banana and four really nice big fat real sweet strawberries and blended the crap out of em with my Cuisinart gizmo,Man it was really tasty !
Anybody got any favorite smoothie recipes they want to share ?

1% milk -- 2 cups
natural unflavored yogurt -- 1 cup
orange juice -- 1 cup
banana -- one medium/big size
berries -- one cup (blue, straw, black or mix)
walnuts -- 1 ounce (finely ground)
eggs -- 2 medium/large
vanilla extract -- a dash or two

This makes @ 48 ounces of shake with a total of 50 grams of protein and 900 calories. Broken down, it amounts to 16/17 grams of protein and 300 calories per 16-ounce glass. I make a batch each night and refrigerate, so one glass is ready to go for breakfast. I drink a second right after my lifting workout (about 5 p.m.), and then a third one as my night snack.
I keep it in a big jug and simply shake well before drinking. It has the consistency of thick milk, but a few ice cubes added before remixing would make it a bit frothier.
Adding basic whey protein powder(1 scoop = @24g protein and 130 calories) would bring the 16-ounce-glass total to24-25g protein and 350 calories)

16 OZ Orange Juice
1 scoop soy protein
1 Tbsp flax meal
1 banana
Add strawberries to taste
Add Mango to taste

You can get frozen strawberries and mangoes at the store, and the protein shake will be kind of like a milkshake. Of you can just use fresh ingredients (this is what I prefer)
