From Dr Ken, here's a link to a new Sports Illustrated documentary about the beating Jermaine Ewell took in 1991, and what came next. It's a remarkable story.
Includes a few clips of Jermaine training with Ken in the Leistner garage. You know how normal people do pullups from a bar? Doc's guys do pullups off some kind of grip block.
From Doc: "That's a Metolius climbing board. Metolius is the brand name. Used by rock climbers, utilizes different grips to strengthen their hands, fingers, and forearms. Of course, since I regularly do pullups utilizing all of the grips, even "barely fingertip" all of the guys have to keep pace."
