In the last video (Knee-Friendly Quad Killer – F1-3) at the link below, Nick Tumminello is using a band I've never seen before. I was hoping someone might be able to tell me what it is or where I might find it: https://www.t-nation.com/training/full-body-wo rkouts-that-dont-hurt

Based on what he says elsewhere in the article, I suspect it's the NT Loop band. That's not brilliant detective work on my part. He says so in the article. I found a website for the band thanks to Mr. Google. The bands on the website look like the bands in the article. The NT Loop band website says the bands were developed by Tumminello, so it's pretty likely that I have identified the right band. Your interest in the product suggests that Nick's product placement is pretty good marketing.
Why are you squatting in the curl rack?

You’re correct. That band is the one sold on the NT (Nick Tumminello) Loop site.

I’m used to seeing references to Biotest products at tnation. I can’t, however, recall a tnation conrtributor trying to sell anything else, especially one of his own products. Couple that with the fact that when I do click on a tnation article, I scroll past all the words—I wish they had a Jump To Workout button like cooking sites have a Jump To Recipe button—until I get to the actual workout or videos. It never occurred to me that this article included the name of the bands.

Thanks for taking the time to enlighten me.

The marketing for the bands was pretty subtle, which may have been why it was okay for t-nation. I have been watching Tumminello's videos and reading his articles for years, and I have a pretty positive impression of him. Years ago (when I think he may have been based in the Baltimore area), his focus was more on the physical therapy side of things. I recall that he did a really impressive video or maybe a series of videos on the Y, T, I, W movements for the rotator cuff and scapular stability. That was on his performance university site. Not sure whether that's still available.

The band in this Tumminello article may be the second recent marketing change at tnation. In February, they posted a Christian Thibaudeau article entitled, “The Best Workout Plan for Natural Lifters.” No details in the article, but it included an ad where you could order the workout—for $9.95. I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen anything like that at tnation.

I just pulled up a couple of old Thibaudeau articles from the tnation archives. At the end of each one is the same $9.95 offer for The Best Workout Plan for Natural Lifters. I’ve liked the site. I hope it doesn’t end up looking like one of the cars on the NASCAR circuit.

It doesn't look like one of those cars already?

Anyhow, at under 100 bucks for two tensions of those big bands it's a fine price.

The "Damn" is very important in the title. You don't wanna be doing anything less than the best damn, right?

Using more intensity and less volume in a non-dope-boat body is getting increased attention the last while.
Less training but more intense training.
Life's too short to worry about longevity.
