I heard about the Capitola Wharf pier in Santa Cruz having been splintered by the waves yesterday (Jan 5 '23). Hope things are holding up OK where you are Laree! Thinking of you...

It’s a huge mess for sure! All the businesses along two different low-lying towns got flooded out. Trees down all over the place, including one that killed a former gym member.

I'm along the coast a few miles from Santa Cruz. My home was within 50 Yards of being Oceanfront property when Mission Ranch flooded.
