The video up and died halfway on me.

Thankfully.

Thoughts?

Multiply powerlifting has always been like this. Super high squats out of mono-lifts and crazy bench shirt technology wars are the only reason these feds exist. This is an unimaginable amount of weight and putting it on your back and moving it at all is impressive on some level. These psychos can do whatever they want, but it's not my cup of tea. Equipped lifting can be really impressive though. Single ply squats walked out and actually taken to depth are fun to watch.

The only thing that sticks in my craw is that this circus fed stuff gets reposted and takes attention away from legitimate impressive lifting. Here is a 217 pound lifter squatting nearly 800-drug tested-raw- walked out and convincingly deep. Let's talk about this guy.

What are the rules for whatever record this is? That looks like about 10-15% bend at the knee.

I will never understand the point of geared lifting competitions.
