Many people have posted other success stories, here is my most recent. About 3 months ago after the most recent USAWA postal meet I was pretty banged up...back was aching, some knee pain, elbow tendonitis and some shoulder pains. I needed a refresh so I found lifts I could do with little pains and put easy strength to work...sumo deadlifts overhand grip, close grip bench press, one arm kneeling press, front squats added loaded carries and a set or two of ab wheel. Started really light and made slow steady gains. Workouts lasted about 35 to 40 minutes full, did it 4 to 5 times a week. Pains started to easy up then went away. Last night recorded my IAWA virtual lifts and got a 440 lb. Civattone deadlift and 120 lb. bent press. Basically overjoyed with the results.

Well, congrats. I am impressed to see the Postal meets return. They were a staple of training until maybe 1969.

That's a big Bent Press.
