I was mainly aiming this at Dan but any one else in the know feel free to chime in.

I just started watching the clip on YouTube linked in wandering weights.
I guess I was just suprised at the "running" part.

How many lifters also ran & did you Dan as I don't recall this from your books?

What sort of schedule/training week did you have like 3 days weights & 3 running?

I guess finally was the club mainly a club biased towards one or the other?

Thanks

Well, that's after me. It was the PBBC until Eric and I moved on and basically the guys were older and focused on other things.

The running started with a funny story about Dick and "the old guy" who raced in the Pier to Park annual race in Pacifica. Dick would train a bout a month to do the race and got beat by an old timer.

So, he took it more seriously and soon they were jogging and doing all kinds of runs.

So, the name changed. But, we all represented the PBBC.

I wish I still had my jacket.

They are not great videos, but you get the feel for the way things were there. Dick was just amazing. If you go to danjohn.net, I have a bunch about him.

Barbells and running go together like meat and vegetables.

We you used to say, "ham and eggs."
Practice what you suck at.
