Picked this up yesterday on Kindle. Just skimmed it so far, will post a full review once I've finished it. It lays out Martin's weight loss method, by calculating calories, setting a deficit, and keeping protein intake very high, all eating in a daily 8 hour window.

The chapter on strength training advocates a 3 day split reverse pyramid method, hiting the big lifts once a week.

This is all very similar to the training and diet guidelines from Kinobody, which he mentions indirectly in the book, and doesn't seem overly happy about being plagiarised from.

Initial thoughts is that it's worth £7 for the read, it's sums up the thoughts of one of the recent pioneers of intermittent fasting (yes I know the ancient Greek philosophers started slightly before him), and it summarises a solid strength program to follow. What I didn't really like is the extreme levels of leanness that the author advocates, he mentions in the book that he's never had an eating disorder, but it sure sounds like he did to me, as he was walking around at 70kg at one point, and he's naturally quite a big guy. Anyway, a tentative recommendation from me.

Brad Pilon's book is good, too, but honestly, it comes down to:

Don't eat.

That's a joke, but basically true. Kinobody actually has some great stuff, but anyone who claims anything really has to be careful: exercise and diet have been around awhile.
