Thanks Griffo, Laree and Rosie!! :) AND yes Yoyo I am a formatting fool!
Rosie: I will racing you to the 10lb goal but I have had a weak first week and upped my goal to lucky thirteen pounds. I would hope you would be in the lead with these two factors. I'll catch up though!!

WEEK ONE
Strength Training
Two Kettlebell workouts done. One short and still feel kinda lost and new in Kettlebells. MUST up the intensity this week.
Cardio
Only one run in this week. I was weak
Eating Plan
I had not eaten clean at the beginning of the week. Holiday and travelling got the best of me. I cleaned up and tracked my eating starting Thursday to Sunday. I lost half a pound.
I weigh 148 today
I am changing my goal to 135lbs. Thirteen pound goal.
I will bring my daily calories down to 1600 per day with no play allowance and work on getting more protein in my diet.
Reading/Educating - Daily
This was my success area!! I got to Chapter Three in Your Body Revival.
Spent Time to answer the Eighteen Root Questions and feel more opened up and acknowledging for it. I did consider posting all eighteen questions with my answers but felt over exposed and opted out. I will post my responses to the goal setting questions in chapter 3.
------------------------- -------------------------
MY GOALS
· Complete my IOL 11 week End of Year challenge
· Lose the lucky 13 pounds
Image I have of myself
· Weak
· Scattered
Image I want of myself
· Strong
· Focussed
· Goal Oriented
· Happy and Hopeful
Where I am headed
· Forward
· Facing my failures and fixing the ones I can
· Loving my body by caring for it. Giving it nutrient rich food so it can function efficiently. Taking care of it deeper than the outer image.
· If I have pains or stiffness address them and treat them. Respect my body.
I intend to accomplish my goals by
· Staying honest with myself
· Keeping connected with IOL and supporting other people with their goals
· Planning for all the situations I may run into that may derail my eating. Packing food I to keep me safe from binging
· Putting my goals at the top of my list of things to do in a day instead of the first to go when over scheduled or unexpected things crop up. I wonder how that will feel to say no to other people instead of myself….hmmmm.
I am willing to compromise
· Less eating at my sisters OR choosing to bring dinner for everyone. If I do join their dinner…..keep my choices wise and do not completely fall off the wagon. One serving.
· Less TV for sure. I cannot workout with the TV on. Bad choice.
· Plan my workout week and stick to the plan. No procrastinating or second guessing. Workout before dinner but ideally earlier.
------------------------- -------------------------

Week Two Plan
Lose 2lbs
Educate myself more on Kettlebells
1600cal per day week and more protein
3Kettlebell & 3Cardio routines done
Read two more chapters of Your Body Revival (read and better revise my goal list often)

Thanks for the good read, especially the responses to the Root Questions. I'm working with CBT to improve my eating habits and sometimes I just don't want to think that hard, but I find it to be the most effective way to stay focused.

Congratulations on a good week. The scale is moving in the right direction.

Those who insist that it can't be done should not interrupt those who are busy doing it.

Thanks Yad, I'ma workin on it.
Thanks Karen
An honest Q&A sessions was benneficial for me. I would consider CBT....what a great way to dig to the core of the issues.

Week Two Check In

Strength Training
Got one good KB training session and halfway through another before life needed me else where. I have no worries about getting three solid KB workouts done in week three.

Cardio
Two runs completed. I need to turn that into a three this week

Eating Plan Super! I've been logging my food on fitday and keeping it at 1600 calories per day which wasn't too hard. My protein is still a challenge to keep up there. My weight is at 146.5 so I lost 1.5lbs in week two...great news.

Reading/Educating
I am midway through chapter seven in Your Body Revival. The book is refocussing me and reminding me how therapeutic working out can be when you need some stress relief. The mind is a powerful thing and I need to strengthen my mind THE MOST.

Bigger things for Week three!!!

Week Three
Week three was pretty much a scrub for me, low to no effort.

Read a chapter, lost two pounds and stared off into space alot. Enough of that!!

I'm getting back into the game today.

Week Four Report of Eleven Weeks
11-10-08 11:59 AM - Post#500139

PLAN
Strength Training
I got three Kettlebell routines in this week and loved it. Strength training was a success and I feel I have begun my momentum to making it more routine

Cardio - 3 Days per week
Not done.
No routine in cardio land yet but not throwing in the towel.

Reading/Educating - Daily
• Your Body Revival - Chapter 13 and enjoying the pep talk and Draper writing style. I'm an avid fiction reader and have always found non fiction hard to focus and complete but now I'm feeling the opposite. I just might learn something beyond daydreaming this year!!!
• Started reading Kettlebell book too!! I'm KB hooked. Pavel Tsatsouline - From Russia With Tough Love
Reading/Educating goal succeeding

Eating Plan
Last week I lost two pounds but I believe it was stress induced. Within two days I was back up two pounds again. Glad to say I lost the two pounds AGAIN this week and believe it is securely gone.
I worked at a 1600cal day with a couple 1400's. I'm not happy with my protein intake and will make this my main diet focus. If I get enough protein I should be able to feel satisfied at 1400-1500.
Nine stubborn pounds to go!!!

This week I will try my best but even with setting some goals I am not sure how it will pan out. Travelling to be with my daughter tomorrow then focus on her for the week...her surgery is Thursday.
Praying for a joyful & successful week

Are you supplementing protein in your diet by adding Bomber Blend? That should get you where you need to be.

I'm under the impression Bomber Blend would be a hassle to get across the border but I may be wrong. I've read about BB more in Your Body Revival and recently in the logs it sounds solid.

You are right though, my plan is to add more scoops of protein powder into my days for that quick and easy fix to my diet.

Thanks yoyo

There's no problem at customs, but international freight costs are a bear other than the $12 flat-rate envelope.

PLAN
Strength Training - KB routine has been going great and hoping to build on that.

Cardio - Going on lots of long daily walks but need to add some more serious cardio this coming week.

Reading/Educating
• Finished Your Body Revival. Started From Russia With Tough Love

Eating Plan
Plan has been clean all week. Previous week was way out of whack so it is no surprise to me that no weight has been lost. Last week was between 1600-1700cal I really am not terribly content with anything less.

8lbs in four weeks to drop to meet my goal

My goal this week is to put more effort into my cardio, keep everything else on track and drop 2lbs.
