Well, I'm not gonna win any kettlebell competitions and I don't think I'm losing the fat I'd like to.. but that's okay, I'm fine with it.

As for happy, I am currently struggling with some anxiety... It's not a secret, heck I posted about it on social media. But, I am yacking with someone about it. And that's helpful.

Mental well being has become as important to me as physical well being.

Mental reps

Yes, it is. This year directs a beam of light into all possible corners, both personally and collectively. I guess one can use any situation at hand as a springboard to some growth. Usually behind any feeling or mood is a thought....and we either believe it or...or we decide not to. After a while -at best -one simply sees that there is no need to be a slave to one's own mental landscape. But as anything, it takes a few reps and sets, that, too....

However, no matter what, everybody can only take one breath at time.

PS
Did you hear about Byron Katie's work? Some people find it helpful. A friend of mine dug really deep into his mind with that technique.

I'm gonna have to take a peek at Byron Katie... thanks for the tip!

The mental well-being is a daily challenge for me.. some days are good.. so day not as good.. seems I'm addicted to worry. But, I'm working on making that history!

So, today was more or less a write-off..

On the weekend I pinched my finger in the metal ring around the top of a vodka bottle.. I was sober.. the bottle was empty.. :)

Because of that, swings were out as it was aggravating the finger...

So, moved onto Jerks.. managed those.. then dealt with a work issue.. which impacted my workout time..

Add to that the cats were busy waking me up at about 4:00am...

Let's see how tomorrow goes.. :)

Couple Walks:

- 1:01:00
- 00:43:32

Yoga:
- 23:00

Planning on doing the 10000 Swing Challenge in January.

Tomorrow, with that in mind, I'm going to see how long 250 swings with the 24kg takes. I'm guessing close to half an hour.

I can't even imagine swinging a 50lb. KB 250 times. I would have to be carried out of the gym. Tim, you are a beast.

Thanks, Diablo..

Nothing special.. just knock out reps till I feel they are starting go off the rails or I'm exhausted. They're usually averaging around 15 reps per set.
