You guys are killing it, young man!

Hack squats are a great addition. Next leg day, I'm gonna try turning around (facing the pad), which a couple of gym mates have told me is an even better quad builder. (Both have well developed legs.)

Yeah Al, my legs hurt for 3 days after the leg workout. Some of it is probably the 10 minute walk each way, from the parking lot to my desk at work.

I did think about turning around and doing them facing the pad. I just wasn't up for that much torture that night.

Wish I could figure out a way to utilize my bands for the legs. Balance and flexibility issues rule out most of what I've seen.

no man comes to the Father, but by me." John 14:6

Willie,
We just wrap the bands around our legs as high up as we can and then do light leg extensions for 30 x 15 x 15 sets. 45 is my warm up weight and that is what I use for my sets. It starts to hurt in the 20's and get more burning painful as you get to 30. I try to squeeze a bit at the top for more burn. After the 3 sets my legs are toast! The reason we do them is for muscle growth with a light weight which is easier on your joints. Hope this helps.

I can feel more solid muscle in my arms and chest. I have a long way to go to look better though. Since I went back to work, I am trying to balance my diet with being sedentary. Plus it’s mentally tiring work. I’ll just keep plugging away though.

Jason did really good tonight.
My right knee is still bothering me, so 225 was high enough. I like the trap bar better as I can spread my legs wider and it doesn't bother my right knee as much. Got a cortisone shoot in my left knee about a week ago and it is starting to feel much better. Now I have keep from screwing it up.

To nights workout
Sled and farmers walk

Sled weight 70lbs
distance 150ft each way facing front for one round and backwards for another.
Jason did 3 sets each way.
I did one set of each and found it enough for me.

Farmers walk 45lbs each same 150ft each way.
Next set 65lbs each same distance. This was fairly hard for me, but made the distance.
Jason did 2 more sets

Between the 2 we worked a lot of the body. Good exercises if you can do them. It was actually nice outside, so it was better than doing them in the rain.

Bruce, due to shoulder surgery many years ago, I have not done a bench press with a barbell in decades. I kind of miss it. There is something about the feeling of power one gets when benching. But we have to make adjustments as time goes on.

I don't do any overhead presses as my range of motion isn't great. Flat bench press I can do ok.

Farmers walk 90lbs for pair 100ft each way.
Next 130 total weight for pair 100ft each way.
That seemed a little hard for me but I did it.
Then Jason added weight so it was 190 lbs total for pair.
Jason made it pretty easily.
My grip on my right hand started to go around 75 ft so I set the weight down and took a few breaths and went back to where I started. I figured that was enough for this time. Don't want to uncover any weakness that might be more serious than my grip going.
We do this stuff on the road or sidewalk in front of my house. It was hot out but there was shade from the trees along the road so we weren't in direct sunlight. Not a bad workout. We will see how I feel in a day or so.
