Bob beat Sergio for the AAU Mr. America and Mr. USA in 1966, not merely for the Mr. Illinois, as was mentioned on this thread.
Of course, Sergio went on to improve dramatically and dominate the Olympia for 67-69 while working a manual day job in a foundry, [while Arnold soaked up post-workout sun on the beach] living on cheeseburgers and fries, and without Arnold's financial freedom thanx to Uncle Joe.
