Got a pair of these recently for more joint-friendly pull-ups. They suckered me with a slick Facebook ad. Very happy with them. They're these little plantain-looking grips that hang from your pullup bar and rotate quite freely. Not too different from rings, but they cut off less height from your pullup bar setup than rings do, are generally less obtrusive, and they feel more ergonomic to me because the curvature is opposite from that of rings. You can't use them for dips, though, so they're less versatile.

They've made pull-ups feel longer, smoother, gentler, and overall better for me. I go from fully pronated at the bottom to fully supinated at the top. It's a lot like what the KB does for the OHP. The movement feels more...full, or round, I guess. People here may already be doing the same thing with TRX handles or something.

Supposedly you can attach them to a bar and do DLs and stuff, but that seems a little silly to me. Haven't tried it and probably won't. They'll stay on my pullup bar, where they are more than justifying their price tag. YMMV.

Experience forces me to suggest caution with these. I used the Metolius Rock Rings in the exact same fashion 4-5 years ago, and during one set, in the middle of that supinating turn, something popped in my forearm and I've had nasty golfer's elbow ever since.

It may have been the unusual finger configuration with the rock rings, of course. Or the fact that I was suddenly rotating my elbow in sets where my other tissues were used to doing high reps, but the medial epicondyle wasn't. I don't know, but either way, the surest way for me to locate that pain is to recreate the same supinating motion during a pull. I guess I'm suggesting starting slow, and wish that I'd done the same. It's surprising how much torque you can put on your elbow.

Does anyone want to start a parallel grip training cult? This might be a slightly eccentric opinion, but I stand by my view that the Swiss bar power clean and push press is the best lift ever invented. Throw in neutral grip pullups, the Swiss bar power clean by itself, the Swiss bar power clean and front squat, trap bar deadlifts and trap bar walks and you have better options than most of what you will see in the local gym...

Thanks for the heads-up. It's a good thing I train with neither volume nor intensity.

Yes . . . thanks for the heads up!
I think my golfer's elbow might like chins more with these things going on.
Life's too short to worry about longevity.

I want to buy a pair, but given I already have a trap bar, neutral grip chin on my rack, TRX and Power Tube Pro bands...I probably dont need them. But, given my insatiable appetite for training tools... I am tempted.

I don't have a Swiss Bar, but I am a huge fan of parallel grip pullups. I have a bit of an old kids' pram screwed to the rafters in my shed which allows a parallel grip; and when the gym re-opens, they have a nearly-parallel pair of handles that just let me get 2-3 more reps than anything else. A solid sturdy parallel grip bothers my elbows less than rings do, and way less than a straight bar.

Straight bar pullups or chins will inflame my elbow in one session.

I have the parallel handles on one of those over the door frame pull up bars.

If I was at a gym without parallel grips,I'd pick up a pair.

As long as it is a cambered parallel grip bar (I don't even know if such a thing exists), count me in!

It's definitely a thing:

Crepinsek Combo Bar Press
Crepinsek Combo Bar

Kabuki Strength Open Trap Bar

Eleiko OPPEN Deadlift Bar

Intek Modular Functional Bar
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice; in practice, there is.

Just because it happened to you doesn't make it interesting.
