Zabo Koszweski

Born August 20, 1924, in New Jersey, Zabo died on March 28, 2009, in Pennsylvania from a short bought with pneumonia after spending more than 50 years in Venice, California. You'll find his obituary here at the LA Times site.

Known by all as Zabo, Irwin Koszweski worked at Joe Gold's World Gym until its closing in 2008. The rest of his time was spent reading, hanging out on the beach and, whenever possible, fishing.
