Rowers Combo

Ethan Reeve calls this type of workout a combo, others call it a complex. You do a sequence of exercises with one fixed weight:

  • Romanian Deadlift x3
  • Power Shrug (from the floor) x3
  • Power Clean x3
  • Squat Clean x3
  • Jerk x3
  • Chin x2
  • Box Jump x3

You do all seven exercises with no rest, circuit style; you start a circuit every two and a half minutes, and you do ten trips through the circuit. It takes roughly 60-80 seconds to go through the circuit, so the workout is done in 24 minutes.

If you can do this with 60kg, you are in pretty darn good shape; don't try that the first time, 40kg will make a strong man sweat like a horse.
