Arnold Classic

For entertainment purposes, no current show matches the Arnold Classic weekend. I recorded my thoughts about the 2005 Arnold Classic weekend on this thread.

If you think you might attend, the most important suggestion I have is this: Make your hotel reservation now. You can cancel it later if you change your mind, but people make their reservations up to a year in advance and hotel slots near the expo venue or on the free shuttle route fill up fast.

Here's the current event list:

  • Arnold Classic * Arnold EXPO * Figure Intnl. *Ms. International *5k Pump and Run
  • Archery *Armwrestling *Bench Press *Boxing *Cheer/Dance *Dance Sport
  • Fencing *Figure Skating *Gracies *Gymnastics *Hockey Skills *Judo
  • Karate *Powerlifting *Speed Skating *Strongman *Strength Summit *Table Tennis
  • Tae Kwon Do *Volleyball *Weightlifting *Wrestling *Wu Shu

That's an amazing list of events, some are completely free, others are included in the $10 expo hall admission. Only the Arnold Classic prejudging and finals carry high ticket prices.

The Columbus hotel list is here.
