For instance, when working on a page of exercise descriptions, you'd probably categorize your list. Then you'd provide links to the various exercises, either in our IOL Exercise Description forum, anywhere on davedraper.com, or elsewhere on the 'net. Then maybe you'd add a couple links out to other useful sites, perhaps exrx.com and the great video clips at the University of Wisconsin site.

You'd do the linking like this:

Using a pair of bracket keys, two at the front and two at the end to wrap around the URL. This will display the full URL as a clickable link. Like so: (open or left) bracket bracket URL link (close or right) bracket bracket -- see bottom of this page for a better visual.

Nicer is to make the full URL invisable, and display the link's title instead. To do that, you'll use what's called a pipe key -- it's the capital backslash key, looks like this: |

Write your link as above, but instead the closing brackets, add a space, then a |, then a space and the name of the link, like so:

The Hise Shrug

ExRx.com Exercise Directory

UW Strength and Conditioning exercise clips
