Back after quite an absence...melanoma in remission,(stay out of the sun...10 years as kayak guide did it to me...)still have my DD wannabe hair...starting to work out again. Went from 220 down to 190 pounds. Hope to build back up.

Also glad to see someone using a non-compound bow.

Luke,60 lb., 68" Longbow, (really American flatbow design). I enjoy hunting Maine whitetail deer and other game with traditional archery equipment. I am a fair-chase advocate. Traditional bows are also a great workout...one of my longbows pulls 75 pounds.

Lori,

Waite is about 35 miles up the coast, and a little inland from me. It is near Princeton, a world-famous fishing destination. VERY remote country, both there and here.

Very cool Steve!
Spot and stalk is my preferred hunting style and fair chase of course!

No pen hunting or canned hunts over baits for this bowman.

If you ever want to hunt down under mate give me a yell and I can set you up with some great hunts. Plenty of game of all varieties from rabbits to 6 species of deer, buffalo, camels and all sorts in between.

cheers,

Luke

thats cool using a flatbow, I learned on one. I prefer recurve myself to compound, but have a compound, couldnt pass up the price on it...Great to hear you are beating the melanoma, looking a fit 62

Glad to know it's ok to bleach the hair. When I was a tot, I had nearly white hair it was so blonde. Now, it's nearly brown. Methinks I'll bleach it. We can both be DD wannabe's.

Congratulations on your success with battling melanoma.
