I believe the weight in this photo to be 400 lbs. This movement was known as the "Scapular Deadlift"...it supposedly helped to widen the shoulders. (As if Reeves needed any help with wide shoulders!)
Postscript: After spending some time on the Iron History site...I found out that the weight in this particular photo is 350 lbs...the 400 lb. lift is rumored but no photos of it exist. - Wicked
