Finished my garage gym today. I got the bench and all the brown, rusty weights free from my high school a few years back. Just bought the squat rack and silver weights yesterday from a guy on Craig's List.
What's everyone else's setup like?

Looks great!
By the way, I bought some rusty used plates a while back and painted them with Rustoleum Hammered Black. It's a little expensive at six bucks a can at Wal-Mart but it made those plates look new.
It does give a shiny finish which I didn't care for, but I fixed that by going over it with some cheap $1 a can flat black spray paint.

Nice set up!
Two options on the rusty plates. You can remove the rust with some cheap store brand cola and a wire brush. (The phosphoric acid does the trick) Soak 'em for a while, then get busy with the brush. Dry them off and heat 'em up, either in a 150 degree oven or out in the hot sun. Paint with flat black if you're chea...er, frugal like me, or use the Rustoleum Hammered Finish like Dog of the Earth said. Advantage of the Hammered Finish is that it tends to fill in the small imperfections.
Second option. Brush 'em good, getting most of the rust off. Then, spray 'em down with WD-40 and let it dry. Then, forget about 'em. Repeat when necessary.

Don't Dan Martin kid you. He's got a swell garage gym and I based mine on what I saw in his.
This is mine...
I'd suggest that you move your weight plate racks to either side of your power cage. It makes loading the bar at lot more efficient.
Here's how I set up my plate trees. The other side is identical save for the plates being racked mirror image.
Taking a page from Paul Anderson's book, I always leave a bar loaded and ready to go for spontaneous work. Walk out into the garage, do a few rack pulls, go about my business (mow the lawn, get the mail, etc.)

I can't take any credit for coming up with that idea.
Custom equipment guys have been building power racks with plate pins on each side since the dark ages.
Just passing the tip on to you. You'd have figured it out pretty quickly anyway.
Enjoy your garage gym...where you're always the biggest guy in the place and you never have to wait for someone else to finish up their set.

Contrary to what the o1d Dude says, five kettlebells is all I have. (Plus a place to lift them.) I gave my Olympic set and squat racks to my son.
