OK, I have a new workout site, now I have to get off my butt and workout.
I have a home gym with plates, dumbbells, squat-rack and a machine. My gym stuff is outside except the machine I keep in the carport. I use the machine for legs and cable work and full workouts when it rains.
I lift three days a week and cycle three days a week. From time to time one of the local’s workout with me and my wife works out “at times”. I use a workout from Men’s Health “The Book of Muscle”; my wife uses a routine from RX for Women. I cycle 20 miles at about 15mph with a cadence of 66rpm, I try to keep my heart at 112-140bpm with a ten-minute recovery time. My blood pressure is around 110/60 with a 59 pulse. My resting pulse is 50 and waking is 40. I’m an “under control Diabetic” with a blood sugar around 120-130 most of the time.
I have been posting at two other sites but they have gotten very dead lately. Maybe we can all share commits about each other’s workouts and do better because of it. I’m 67 so I miss a day from time to time but my main reason for still lifting is to stay hard, very hard and keep my diabetics controlled.
OK, that’s me folks. I’ll post today’s workout in a minute.

Burr's Wonderful Workout Records 06-17-09 06:26 AM - Post#560558
Trying to kill myself. May have to go easy a few days.
After 61 years of playing with, and working with AC electricity I finely got mine. On top of a 12' “Aluminum” ladder in the rain I stuck the end of an un-insinuated wire into a hot 220vAC wire and got the crap stocked out of me and had to throw myself into space to get away from it.
I hit three flowerpots, and a tree on the way down then landed on a cement border around the tree.
I’m OK, sore cut up a little but alive. The juice went in my left hand and out my left knee so it didn’t cross my heart or other organs (or pianos) on the way out. Left hand hurts and left knee is swollen and very sore.
I could feel each cycle of the AC as it went threw me and I could not open my hand. A smaller or person who was not in as good a shape as I am would have fried their heart. 5 minutes after the stock/fall my BP was 132/62 with a pulse of 65, that’s high for me but I’ll take it.
I have had many friends do the same thing and die. Over 33 years as a telephone man I lose a lot of friends to doing the wrong thing at the wrong time and today it was me BUT, I’m OK.
So Mote It Be

That's nasty.
I had one handshake with a 110 volt line where I could feel each cycle of the AC. Thought I was gonna die. You caught a break on this one.
This wasn't in Red Mountain, was it? When did it last rain there?
