Higher Reps, Lighter Weight
My Stats at a glance: 52 years old former, 8-yr Marine, 6-yr Army at 5’8″ 190# 12% bf and still able to roll the weights around better than when I was younger (but who can remember that far back). I do see the high-rep approach with lighter pounds becoming be a reality sooner than later.
You’re doing a great job, especially in service to America. We thank God and pray for ya’ll each day.
You can train harder, longer when you reduce the heavy overloads and improve the focus, form and finesse. Get in those heavy workouts occasionally and safely when you feel mean, but don’t be foolish. The foolish are tough on joints and longevity…
Go… Godspeed… Dave
