Getting lean at 72?

I have been involved in bodybuilding for years, am now 72 and carry body fat in mid-section. Can a person still firm up at my age?

We fight the good fight with realistic hopes. I believe smart training (our weekly plan of exercise), right eating, consistency and a well-developed attitude will take us in the firming-up, musclebuilding direction and restrain us from going in the other dreaded direction. If one hasn’t exercised before, positive results are evident… if one has trained regularly, results are being maintained and, perhaps, slowly advancing.

You are your own lab and experiment… stick to the basics, try this ‘n that in menu and exercise-combinations and executions to maintain (magnify) interest and hope, exert wisely, remain injury-free and be grateful.

Take an aspirin, get some sleep and don’t call me in the morning…

Workout instead… that’s what I do… Godspeed Dave
