Gout?
I’ve recently had pain in right big toe about halfway down that used to come and go, but now is fairy constant. I know this is a classic symptom of gout, but I eat none of the foods you should avoid to avoid gout. I eat clean all week until the one cheat day. But I’m wondering if this could be from too much protein (if that’s possible) from clean sources that I take.
May not be gout… might want to see a doc. My gout experience goes back 30 years, engendered by congestive heart failure (CHF). The gout comes in attacks or flare-ups, which include unbearable pain and considerable swelling around the involved joint. I’m prescribed a daily medicine, Allapurinol, to minimize possibilities of attacks and a plan of painkillers and anti-inflammation drugs if an attack occurs (once every few months).
I stay away from shellfish and alcohol, but eat all the protein I want, no problem. Do not aggravate the joints foolishly, setting the stage for problems, Act 1…
Looking good… press on… never quit… Godspeed… Dave
