Gaining Muscle at 66

At age 66, what I think is you have to work harder doing drop sets and I can accomplish more in an hour. I would appreciate your thoughts in working with older people, but for sure you can build muscle as we get older.

Folks can build muscle at 86 if they have not exercised their lagging muscles much in their long and wonderful life. But a well-trained 66-year-old will have to strain and overload those adapted muscles, and an injury is right around the corner — a devastation to the less-than-youthful devotee.

Some folks are old at 50, some are rockin’ at 75…

Exercise regularity and focused moderation are the keys… eat right, lots of rest… be nice… don’t smoke or drink booze… pet the dog, don’t beat your spouse…
