BODYBUILDING AND WEIGHT TRAINING SITE LISTINGThis is a good group of sites nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon roaming around the web. Just for a changeup, I've listed them in reverse alphabetical order. Most listings I've seen are in alphabetical order (well, sort of), so if I know you, you've never seen some of these at the top. |
| The
Vegetarian Bodybuilder -
Steve Holt (The Vegetarian
Bodybuilder in person) is a
mid-forties-ish contributor
to our IOL discussion group
and is a natural bodybuilding
competitor. But neither of
those are his main claim to
fame: Steve's been a vegetarian
for over twenty years. And
he knows how to build muscle
doing it.

Master Trainer - Loaded with training information for the aging athlete...that covers pretty much everyone, whether they know it or not. The Training Advice page is a must read, with features on important issues we all need to face. Written by Richard Winett, the articles are well-written, sensible and right on the money.

La Cour - Skip's written
a hefty, information dense site
you'll learn from and enjoy.
Filled with a variety of training,
diet and motivational tips, it's
a site I'm impressed by... unfortunately
rare amongst the bodybuilding
sites! Go here, it's a gem.

| Ironstar
Gym - Solid information
for the not-so-young beginning
bodybuilders. How to get started,
the value of free weights vs.
machines, what to expect - all
directed toward the over 40 crowd,
and there's a lot of us out here!
Recently updated, Christian's
built a top quality site you'll
enjoy.

Iron Fitness - Impressive!
Those of us who are beginning
to notice the age creep up
on us will really enjoy Logan's
site, especially those who
are just getting started on
the Iron Journey. Let Logan
walk you through the start-up
steps and enjoy the amazing
inspiration while you're there.
Glycemic Index - Most of us have a general idea of the glycemic index (and if you don't you better get on over to Mendosa's Index post-haste), but not that many of us know the difference between, say, a banana and an apple. Go find out.

| Eternally
Transformed - Vince
McConnell, owner of the ET
Fitness Enterprises, is an
example of the tremendous generosity
that we have in our IOL email
discussion group. Vince has
nearly twenty years of training
experience and is eager to
share it with our email group,
and with you via the link above.

Bodybuilding.com - Not a hardcore site, rather a place to fritter away some time on bodybuilding trivia, apply to become the bodybuilder of the week, plan out your next contest, purchase your supplements, you get the picture. Lately it's been developing into quite an article archive for you to get lost in.
